What I really like about your photos is that they show how Istambul is a city of the sea. thanks for taking us on a journey with you.

Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I have signed up to follow your blog and look forward to your future photos of Istanbul. My wife (Julie of Scottsdale, Arizona Daily Photo) and I loved our visit to Istanbul about 10 years ago. We stayed in the Swiss Hotel and and enjoyed visiting the historical buildings, grand mosques, palaces, and a boat cruise on the Bosphorus.

Such interesting architecture for the train station servicing Istanbul.

It looks like a very historical building. A bit eerie, but magnificent nonetheless.

A very fancy train station, and right by the water-a clever angle to get it all in!

The best train station in the whole wide world and this is a great photo--especially like the Pizza Tower effect :-) I used to take the night train to Ankara for the winter break trips during my teens from this station. And the trains had the best restaurant cars! Such fun memories... Can you take a picture of the entrance, the front steps?
